Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 P5200

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 P5200
It was the other day that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) was officially announced, and if you’re looking forward to its potentially larger sibling, the 10.1” model, benchmarks have surfaced which shows that the 10.1” version of the Galaxy Tab 3 could be pretty impressive. A Samsung device with the model number GT-P5200 was spotted not too long ago on the AnTuTu benchmarks, and considering that the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) was the GT-P5100, we guess it’s safe to assume that this is its successor. However as Samsung no longer uses the GT-PXXXX for its tablets, the folks at SamMobile are suspecting that perhaps this benchmark was done on an early prototype device, although based on the benchmarks it looks like this prototype might pack a punch. The device was shown to run on a 1.66GHz CPU with a 1280×800 WXGA display and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean to top it off. We’re not sure if the device will be powered by a Qualcomm quad-core chipset, or Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa-core. In any case as benchmarks can be manipulated, not to mention the model number suggests an early prototype, try not to read too much into this for now, but hopefully additional details about Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 (10.1) will surface in the near future.
