New Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 leaks have pointed to Intel making its first appearance on the Android tablet scene, with the iPad rival tipped to feature an Atom processor.
While a number of Intel chipset hosting smartphones have already made their way to market, the renowned processor maker has still yet to join the Android tablet revolution, with leaked Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 benchmarks suggesting this could be about to change.
Following on from the likes of the Motorola Razr i, Intel will reportedly supply a 1.6GHz dual-core Atom Z2560 processor for the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. Having leaked courtesy of serial Samsung tipster SamMobile, the third-generation 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab will feature the Intel innards in both the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus 3G options, reportedly known as the Samsung GT-P5200 and GT-P5210 respectively.
