The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 debuted last month, and this is apparently soon going to be followed by the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, which is likely to be a less-expensive version of this Android tablet. After recently getting a mention in the Wall Street Journal, this model was discovered in the GLBenchmark database by the Dutch website TechTastic, revealing many of the specs. There will be 2GB of RAM, but the amount of built-in storage is not yet known. A 4500mAh battery will power the device. This will likely appeal to those looking for a smaller, cheaper tablet than the 8-inch model. It's screen will have a 1024 x 600 (WSVGA) resolution, while it will run Android 4.1 on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. These will the the part of the third generation of Samsung's Tab series. As such, they will be models aimed at more budget-consious buyers. The tablets in the Note series, on the other hand, are for those looking for a more premier experience.
