Huawei have shown off another new Android smart-phone at MWC 2013, the Huawei Ascend G526, which is a mid range Android smart-phone. Featuring a 4.5 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 9760 pixels and it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it also features a dual core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. Coming with a 1,950 mAh battery, it also features LTE and Wi-Fi Direct, the handset measures 133mm x 67.5mm by 9.9mm thick is actually rather comfortable to hold in the hand. However there are no details as yet on when it will be available and how much it will retail for. As for the Chinese company has a history of hiding an unannounced phone or two in less-visited corners of the booth. Looks like, this time around its the Ascend G526 that blends into the background, hanging out with a few other LTE-enabled devices but the G526, which hasn’t been assigned any pricing or time frame for availability. Speaking of more, there appears to be three variants of this device – L11, L22 and L33 – each one offering different frequencies for various carriers and markets. Speaking of which, about par for the course when it comes to midrange handsets, with a slick plastic back that curves inward on each side so as to hug the edges. Moreover, a 3.5mm jack can be seen up top while the power and volume buttons are on the right but tragically, the micro-USB charging port is located on the upper left side of the phone, which is an incredibly awkward place when you’re trying to use the device whilst its chained to an outlet. OUCH! Some of the other specifications on the Huawei Ascend G526 include, dual cameras, on the back of the device we have a 5 megapixel camera and on the front there is a VGA camera for video chat. This phone might be the one you are looking for but let’s wait for the price until then!
